Registration and book pickup begins October 14. A multigenerational family saga that explores themes of identity, displacement and belonging through the experiences of three Puerto Rican women. R

The story focuses on the experiences of three Puerto Rican women: Rafaela, Ruth, and Daisy. It begins with Rafaela's marriage and move to the American Midwest, and then follows her daughter, Ruth, as she navigates a new life away from Puerto Rico, and finally, Daisy, who returns to San Juan and faces a life-altering accident. The novel examines their struggles with assimilation, cultural identity, and the complexities of family relationships across generations. It explores how these women, despite their shared heritage, experience vastly different versions of their homeland and grapple with finding their place in the world.

R = Registration required.
