Historian Clarence Goodman will discuss Black history in Chicago. R

Local historian Clarence Goodman will present a retrospective of Chicago's Black Experience. Goodman's presentation will explore African American history in the city from 1790 when Jean-Baptiste Point du Sable became the first permanent non-Native settler of Chicago through Barack Obama's election as president in 2008.
