Proctoring

The library offers proctoring service to ITPLD cardholders in good standing at no charge and $10 per session for non-members. More than one exam may be taken per session. Proctoring needs to be scheduled one week in advance at the second floor Adult Services Desk or by emailing adult@indiantrailslibrary.org.

Guidelines

  • The member is responsible for any proctoring fees a school may charge and all postage required for mailing back the exam. An exam can be held at the Adult Services Desk until the correct postage is provided.
  • The library will provide a computer for self-administered online tests. Members are not allowed to use their own laptops or devices unless specifically allowed to do so by their school.
  • We check for ID, time limits and monitor the person taking the exam periodically. We do not offer the strictest level of proctoring, which may be required for some exams (e.g. SAT). The member will not be in a separate room and will not be monitored the entire time.
