Designed for beginners, this hands-on session introduces the fundamentals of the direct method of glass painting through step-by-step guidance. Samra will also highlight Islamic art, focusing on the history and cultural significance of geometric patterns.
During her presentation on Islamic art, she will highlight how these designs appear across architecture, textiles, and other artistic traditions, and share insights into her own creative process. Participants will also view a selection of the instructor’s original paintings, offering inspiration and demonstrating how simple designs can evolve into intricate, timeless patterns. No prior artistic experience is required.
