In The Bandit Queens by Parini Shroff, Geeta's life takes an unexpected turn when she adopts a stray dog. This new companion brings a sense of warmth and loyalty into her otherwise tumultuous world, offering her solace and a renewed sense of purpose. The bond between Geeta and her dog highlights the profound impact that adopting a pet can have on one's life, providing not just companionship but also emotional support and unconditional love. As part of the One Book, One Community initiative, we invite you to experience the joy of pet adoption.

This program is a part of One Book, One Community.
